CHERRY JUICE CONCENTRATE
Michigan Stae University has been researching the benefits of tart cherries and they have found that the anthocynanins and antioxidants in tart cherries are ten times strogner than aspirin or ibuprofen. Tart cherries reduce the pain of arthritis, gout and headaches. It has also been suggested that tart cherries are good for kidney stones, gallbladder ailments and tooth decay as well as cholesterol reduction. Eating twenty cherries daily could cut the risk of heart attack by 30%. Plus, tart cherries contain Perillyl alcohol, a natural chemical that flushes cancer - causing substances out of the body, and also helps stunt the growth of cancerous cells. Perillyl alcohol is so powerful, it can slash the incidence of all types of cancer as much as fifty percent.
May we suggest that you try our concentrate with water, other juices, milk (yes milk, it is like a milkshake without the work) and yogurt! Try it over cereal, ice cream or whatever may sound good to you! We recommend that two tablespoons a day may keep the pain away!
Directions: Mix 2 tablespoons to 8 ounces of beverage or make a pitcher 8 parts liquid to 1 part concentrate. It is up to your taste, so experiment.
Our Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate is made solely with Montmorency tart cherries with no additives or preservatives. Our juice is concentrated to 68 degrees Brix. When your concentrate arrives at your door it should berefrigerated or frozen. Shelf life is longest in the freezer although storing concentrate in the refrigerator will make it easier to pour. Two tablespoons of concentrate is equivalent to 160 cherries.
